Sharon Yvonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, at Meadville (Pennsylvania) was born to Dorothy Lawson, a former worker at a factory, as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are three of her siblings. Stone began the second grade at 5 years old. She was considered as being academically gifted.
