She is most well-known for playing Lieutenant Sheba from her role in the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). Lockhart is the grandchild and daughter of actor Gene Lockhart, as well as actor June Lockhart. Lockhart began her career at an early age. At age 4Lockhart was in the role of T is for Tumbleweed. She starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) and co-starred along with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
